Shielded receiving loop

A first experimental setup of a shielded receiving loop. The material is called YMVK-as 2x2.5mm². The diameter of the loop is 55cm. This particular setup resonates between 2.5MHz and 7.4MHz.

Even though I considered shutting down the "Suburban Grabber" completely, I will keep it alive for the time being, on request of friends. The grabber could be found at http://qsl.net/dl1gsj/qrss/

However, I will not guarantee "service", since my own experimentation is hindered by the public function of the grabber.

kick-off after close down

For a couple of reasons, I decided to shut down my homepage, which I have been using for more than 10 yrs. Please, don't ask me why, that would be too complex to explain. However, the contents of my radio-page will be appearing here, soon-ish.
